Regular Meeting:
The regular monthly meeting of the Mississippi Valley Firefighters Association was held at the Aledo Fire
Station on March 19, 2009. At 6:45 roll call was taken and then the meeting broke for supper. The meeting was
called back to order at 7:08 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and then a brief silence for fallen
firefighters. Roll call showed 19 members from 12 departments were present. The minutes of the last meeting were
read, motioned to accept, voted on and accepted. The treasure report was read and the checking account
balance was $ 2042.66 and the savings account balance was $4404.51. Motion to accept treasures report was
made, voted on, and passed.
Details of the summer fire school were gone over and various training agenda’s discussed. There was not much
other business, so the monthly communications were listed and are as follows:

Dave Liebovitz said thank you to everyone that attended the meeting and the Aledo Fire Department for hosting
the meeting. Next meeting will be at the Quad City Airport Fire Station on April 12, 2009. General membership
meeting starting at 6:30 PM. Meeting adjourned at 7:24 PM.
